Casa Entrepinos

Héctor Barroso

Casa Entre Pinos by Héctor Barroso is a personal project with the idea of replicating where it is built, in a vast forest area in Valle de Bravo, Mexico.
The house consists of six volumes positioned in such a way as to generate a void with a central courtyard, which offers views, silence and intimacy.
The architecture uses local materials, such as wood, brick and earth with which the plaster on the walls is mixed, the earth is local and was excavated to bury the foundations, so that the architecture seems to emerge.
